
Debriefing Services for Members
IAAMHP offers confidential debriefing services exclusively for paid members working in clinical and mental health settings. These sessions provide a safe and supportive space to reflect on the emotional, ethical, and professional challenges of practice.
What Is Debriefing?
Debriefing is a structured, reflective process focused on practitioner wellbeing. It is not therapy or formal clinical supervision, but a peer-based support service designed to help members process and manage the impact of their work in clinical and mental health environments.
What’s Included?
- 2 Free Sessions Per Year: Each paid member is entitled to up to two hours of complimentary debriefing or professional advisory sessions.annually.
- $50 Per Additional Session: After the free sessions, additional sessions are available at a capped rate of $50 per session.
- No Referral Required: Members may self-refer at any time to access further sesions.
- Confidential & Professional: Sessions are conducted by experienced IAAMHP-affiliated professionals in a private, respectful environment.
When to Access Debriefing
Debriefing is helpful following:
- Emotionally difficult client sessions
- Exposure to traumatic or crisis events
- Ethical dilemmas or decision-making challenges
- Burnout, stress, or workplace conflict
