Interest Groups

Interest Groups

Interest Groups are member-led committees focused on specific mental health practice areas (e.g., Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, Culture and Community). They operate independently within their scope, managing their activities and committees.

Key points:

  • All IAAMHP members can form Interest Groups if they meet regulations.
  • Each Interest Group must have at least 5 committee members.
  • Interest Groups manage their own activities relevant to their focus.
  • They are not part of the Main Committee but collaborate with IAAMHP to achieve common goals.
